Where are we?
The campsite occupies a beautiful spot in the Ribble valley with superb views across the valley to Pendle Hill.
With wonderful views all around it is a peaceful place to get away from it all and there are many potential walks, bike and horse rides on the local footpaths and bridleways in the immediate area. A short walk away is the picture-postcard village of Bolton By Bowland with its two greens and 13th century cross at the centre, a delightfully positioned church, excellent cafes and pub.

Running beside Bolton By Bowland is the river, Skirden Beck, which joins the River Ribble just a mile or two to the south near Sawley. There is a lovely footpath which wanders alongside the river from the bridge on the way into Bolton By Bowland.
